Can you install DreamCourt™ tiles over existing asphalt ?
Yes, you can. One of our DreamCourt™ specialist will need to inspect the site to make sure the asphalt is in good condition. Things we are looking for are pot holes, large cracks or humps. Our team may need to perform some repairs using grinders and self-leveler to fix up any court areas that might affect the play-ability.
What are my options if i can’t build a concrete slab ?
We understand that building a concrete slab can be expensive, logistically impossible for some and or councils just simply doesn’t allow. If you are unable to construct a concrete slab then we would recommend our premium synthetic grass options. Our Synthetic grass is the next best thing. Please note this option is only Available in just New South Wales and Victoria at this stage. If interested we can organise for 1 of our DreamCourt™ specialist to come out and perform a free site inspection at your property. Simply give the team a call on 1300 690 991 or email enquiries@dreamcourts.com.au to arrange.
Does your Sport flooring come with a Warranty ?
Absolutely, DreamCourts™ offer some of the best warranties on the market. They range from 10 years to 15 years dependent upon the tile model selected. Please see our warranty page for further information www.dreamcourts.com.au/warranty-information/
What if i damage a tile ?
One of the best features of DreamCourt™ sports tiles is they are easily repaired/replaced. We normally supply, with each order, a few spare tiles so that damaged tiles can be quickly removed and replaced. No expert required. If there happens to be anchors in or around the repair site, all that needs to happen is the centre tile cap lifted off using a small flat head screw driver and then with a normal Phillips screw driver you can then unscrew the visible anchor temporarily, whilst you perform the replacement. Simply Click the damaged tile out and replace with the new tile. If you have ran out of tiles or require some extra tiles posted out to you then please give the team a call on 1300 690 991.
Is there any maintenance required for DreamCourt™ tiles ?
Apart from regular sweeping or pressure cleaning to remove dirt or debris, there are no maintenance required unlike other surfaces such as synthetic grass or acrylic. DreamCourt™ tiles (similar to gutter guard) acts like a filter whereby fine sediment can pass through the porous tiles and the water will navigate majority of the dust or fine dirt away based on the natural slope of the hard surface below. All the course material on top can then simply be brushed, hosed or blown away. Overtime the only thing that may need re-application is the painted linemarking and logos.
Are DreamCourt™ tiles noise reducing ?
Yes, they have been independently tested by several audio labs that have measured concrete vs DreamCourt™ tiles using a fully inflated basketball. DreamCourt™ tiles on average reduce the noise by up to 30%.
Do you have Showrooms or locations i can view your product ?
Yes, we have many showcourts around Australia that you can go and check out the flooring and or hoops before buying. Simply go to www.dreamcourts.com.au/contact-us/ to see the locations. Please note some locations are by appointment only and so it is best to call and arrange a time to visit as they are not always open. Some of these locations are businesses and or customers that are are allowing you to visit and check out DreamCourts™ and hoops – please call 1300 to discuss all pricing etc, pricing not given on site.
What are the Concrete base requirements ?
If you are looking to undertake the construction and or project management of the concrete slab in preparation for the DreamCourt™ tiles then we recommend the following:
1) Concrete slab is to be a minimum of 100mm thick with reinforced meshing.
2) Helicopter or smooth trowel finish is acceptable
3) 25 MPA concrete strength is recommended
4) Minimum fall required. Just enough for water to navigate away, without puddling from occurring.
5) Try to install the ring anchor at the same time as constructing the slab.
6) Allow ideally 1 week of concrete curing before installing your DreamCourt™ and or DreamHoop™.
What is the process of building a DreamCourt™ ?
The normal process of building a court is the following:
Step 1 – Give the team a call on 1300 690 991 and arrange for 1 of our reps to come out and measure up the site. They will be able to introduce you to the tile range, talk layouts and product information.
Step 2 – Accept or edit the Quote.
Step 3 – Design phase working on the colours and custom layout
Step 4 – Court goes into production and we schedule in for the construction of your court
Step 5 – Construction takes place of the court, ring anchor and any other landscaping requirements
Step 6 – DreamCourt tiles and DreamHoop is installed.
Step 7 – Time to play
Can your DreamCourt™ tiles be installed over existing synthetic grass ?
Yes, within reason, you can drive on the tiles. The tiles are rated to 3 tonne rolling load pressure when anchored and professionally installed. Rolling load means when it is continually rolling and not stationary (dead load). We don’t recommend to have cars or trucks heavier or nearly 3 tonne sitting on the court for an extended period of time. If you intend to use the product on a driveway or a high traffic area for cars and trucks then I would recommend going with the EliteX tile as this is thicker, heavier with a more heavy duty anchoring system.
What is the difference between all the DreamCourt™ tile range ?
DreamCourts™ currently has 3 different Premium Sport tiles:
Elite Pro Ⅱ is our Premium Residential tile that comes with silicon based cushioned feet for a premium bounce. With the textured surface double layered technology that assists with providing a quality grip and is suitable for large and small ball sports. It’s a versatile tile that can be used in a commercial or domestic multi sports environment. This tile also comes with a standard 10 year warranty and can be locked down to the pavement to avoid movement and theft. Key Elite Pro upgrades include enhanced slip rating and double anchoring.
Elite X 2.0 is the No1 basketball tile on the market. Recently introduced into the DC range with an improvement to the bounce quality, larger cushions, heavy duty anchoring, thicker and heavier so it can withstand heavy use and traffic. This tile has had an improvement made to the grip rating and noise reduction features. It is mainly suited to large ball sports only.
If you would like to learn more about the tile range then please give the team a call on 1300 690 991 or send us an email enquiries@dreamcourts.com.au
How do you install the lines and logos on the court ?
Based on your Design we manually tape up the court and paint on the lines as per the design in the factory and not on site. The only time we may paint on site is for Commercial jobs or strange court shapes.
Once we have the correct and approved Logo file we manufacture a stencil and then paint on the Logo directly on the tile.
What is the difference playing on a DreamCourt™ Vs Concrete?
DreamCourts™ Premium flooring has an extensive list of benefits compared to concrete, including:
Sound Reduction – DreamCourts™ flooring considerably reduces the noise on the court.
Bounce – DreamCourts™ have been designed with ball sports in mind. All courts offer exceptional bounce – closely resembling a professional indoor experience.
Convenience – Instead of travelling to your local park or stadium now you get the ‘Pro’ experience at home in your backyard.
Drainage – DreamCourts™ premium flooring allows water to easily move through the tile, flowing rapidly to the hard surface below where the water freely runs off keeping the courts – puddle free and quick drying. Perfect for die-hard players that don’t want to wait!
Anti-slip – DreamCourts™ flooring has been designed to provide maximum traction through all weather conditions.
Aesthetics – Are you ready to show-off your court to your kids, friends, neighbours and family? DreamCourts™ are not just a great playing surface, they also add to the look and value of your property.
Safety – Jumping and running create a lot of impact on the body. Over time this can cause slow deterioration of the joints leading to pain and inflammation. DreamCourts™ are designed to absorb the shock of high impact ball play, therefore decreasing the jarring effect caused by jumping and running.
Value – DreamCourts™ offer fantastic Return on Investment. Not only as a great way to improve your health but as a capital improvement to any property.
Do you offer custom designs, colors and lines?
Yes we do! All courts are completely customisable (size, colour and design). Please ask our friendly staff for some examples. We have worked with Nike, NBL, Adidas, Kia, Bridgstone just to name a few in creating custom pantone coloured courts with unique logo’s and slogans installed on the court. Please note there is an additional charge per SqM when customising the colour.
Is the Court portable or moveable?
Yes, absolutely – the best part about our courts is that you are able to dismantle and take it with you to your new location. If you had your court professionally installed then simply give our friendly team a call on 1300 690 991 and they can either assist you with moving your DreamCourt™ or informing you on the process.
What base do I need for the DreamCourt™ tiles?
DreamCourts™ flooring is most effective when installed on a flat, hard surface – such as concrete or asphalt. We do not recommend to use on natural grass, dirt and crushed rock. If you are unable to install a hard surface in your property due to costs, council or logistics etc then you may want to consider our premium Synthetic grass option (Vic & NSW only), please contact the team on 1300 690 991 or enquiries@dreamcourts.com.au to find out more. If you are still unsure on the suitability of your space, please contact us on the above details and 1 of our staff will be happy to assist. We do offer free site inspections in every state.
How durable is the DreamCourts™ Premium Flooring ?
DreamCourts™ Premium Interlocking sports Flooring have been designed with the highest quality of materials being used and technology that is built to last. They are made out of composite polymer material with built in UV stabilises and silicon cushioned feet. Please see our Courts page that outlines all the major benefits of our sports tiles.
Does Someone Need to be home for Delivery ?
If you have requested for direct delivery to your house and not via our installation team, then the answer is Yes, someone will need to be home. The courts and ring systems are very heavy and expensive. We would hate to leave the goods on the nature-strip as you run the risk of having the product stolen or damaged. We also normally use a 3rd party delivery service which only supply 1 delivery driver. Hence why we recommend a few people to be onsite to help the delivery driver to unload the court and ring. If you are unable to assist the delivery driver, then please let the DreamCourt™ team know and we will have to arrange alternate means to deliver. In order to keep the delivery costs down for you, this is normally the best approach for delivery. Please see our Delivery Terms and Conditions: www.dreamcourts.com.au/shipping-and-returns/
How much does it cost to deliver a DreamCourt™ ?
The cost to Deliver a DreamCourt™ really depends on your location and court size. Please call the team on 1300 690 991 or email enquiries@dreamcourts.com.au to get a quote.
How much does it cost to deliver a DreamHoop™?
The cost to Deliver a DreamHoop™ really depends on your location. Please call the team on 1300 690 991 or email enquiries@dreamcourts.com.au to get a quote. You can save on delivery costs by picking up at a local depot.
How long does it take for a DreamHoop™ to be delivered ?
DreamHoop™ rings, if in stock, will be dispatched within 3-7 days. We normally have Ring anchors in stock and so if we were out of stock, then you will be able to install the anchor. If you wish to pick up a ring system (save on delivery charges) and or anchor from our factory then please call our office on 1300 690 991.
How long does it take for a DreamCourt™ to be produced and delivered ?
Once the order has been confirmed, your court can be delivered and ready to play on in 6-8 weeks for standard Shipping or 2-3 weeks for priority Shipping. The reason we work to this schedule is because we Custom build all of our courts to your Requirements. Unlike a lot of our competitors who simply have 1-2 colours available at a time, which limits your ability to customise. We prefer to build a DreamCourt™ to your standard and desire. On the odd occasion we may have some local stock for immediate dispatch in set colours, so please be sure to check with our team on 1300 690 991.
Will pressure cleaning take off the line markings?
Yes, it can if you use a high powered commercial unit or a pencil tip end when attempting to clean your DreamCourt™. We recommend to use a domestic grade unit, broad spectrum end or provide enough distance away from the tile so that the paint is not damaged or lifted up. Hose on the jet setting is also a great option to cleaning.

What is the overhang measurement on a DreamHoop™ ?
Overhang is the measured distance from the front of the main pole (or wall plate) to the front of the backboard. DreamHoop™ Pro 60 is 900mm and 72 is 1200mm. Competition regulation overhang is normally 1200mm. The extra overhang is useful for allowing extra distance for playing through. The anchor plate measurement is 300mmx300mm square steel plate.
Do i need the DreamHoop™ before i start building the court ?
Yes 100%. It is very important to select and order your in-ground DreamHoop™ prior to commencing construction of your court. The reason is every ring has a different overhang measurement. The overhang measurement is where the ring sits within the court. All the line-markings are determined by where the ring sits in the court. So it is vital to understand ring placement to avoid disappointment later.
DreamHoop™ 60 overhang is 900mm. This is taken from the front of the anchor plate to the backboard,
DreamHoop™ 72 overhand is 1200mm.
It is also stronger to set the ring anchor in with the concrete slab.
The last reason is that there is enough clearance made available for the handle that sticks out the back of the ring pole. normally 400-450mm to the back of the anchor plate is what is recommended. Please talk to the DreamTeam on 1300 690 991 to discuss designs and ring placement.

Can your DreamCourt™ tiles be installed over existing synthetic grass ?
If your DreamCourt™ was to permanently be installed over an existing synthetic surface then we would not recommend this. The reason why we don’t recommend this is because the ball bounce reduces too much. The interlocking tiles require a hard surface to work at their optimum and the problem with synthetic grass is it provides a soft layer in between tile and base. We recommend to pull back the synthetic to the concrete below and then re-apply the tiles.
What base do I need for the DreamCourt™ tiles?
DreamCourts™ flooring is most effective when installed on a flat, hard surface – such as concrete or asphalt. We do not recommend to use on natural grass, dirt and crushed rock. What is the adjustable height range for your DreamHoop™ in-ground systems ?
Our DreamHoop™ adjustable basketball systems are made for all skill levels and ages. These in-ground systems can be adjusted anywhere from 5-feet to 10-feet and dunkable from all heights.
Are your DreamHoop™ basketball systems suitable for all weather conditions ?
When you order a DreamHoop™, you will receive free Pro Rim upgrade, rust-resistant galvanization, custom-fitted pole padding, gusset padding, backboard padding, anchor kit and a limited lifetime warranty.
What’s Included when i order a DreamHoop™ ?
When you order a DreamHoop™, you will receive free Pro Rim upgrade, rust-resistant galvanization, custom-fitted pole padding, gusset padding, backboard padding, anchor kit and a limited lifetime warranty.
How do i determine which DreamHoop™ system is best for me ?
The Best system for all your needs depends on the size of your playing area and your budget. Since we design all our products to last a lifetime, the major deciding factor is courts that are normally under 7meters in width, we normally recommend the DreamHoop™ 60 hoop due to scale of the backboard to court ratio. Anything larger than 7meters in width we would normally recommend the DreamHoop™ 72inch Hoop. Our 7m wide court rule is an aesthetic recommendation only – we have many customers who install 72inch backboards with narrow courts.
What is the difference between a Standard and Pro Rim ?
The difference is in the angles the rim can tilt when force applied to it between each rim. The Pro Rim flexes any direction in a full 180° from the backboard using our Special Rim Technology. The Standard Rim flexes only front to back using a Single Pivot movement. All our Systems comes standard with a Pro Rim upgrade usually worth an additional $99.
What is the difference between DreamHoops™ and your competitors ?
DreamHoops™ are Australia’s leading hoop and court suppliers. We manufacture all our own Hoops. This means we are able to invest more dollars into the manufacturing process without diluting the quality. We remove all the middle tier distributors. We are also the only court and hoop supplier that are the official partners of the NBL and our customers include major retailers and sporting brands. To learn more please check out our comparison charts located in the Rings section of this website.
Do i need the DreamHoop™ before i start building the court ?
Yes 100%. It is very important to select and order your in-ground DreamHoop™ prior to commencing construction of your court. The reason is every ring has a different overhang measurement. Can you Bump in and Bump out the courts anywhere and anytime ?
Absolutely, my team are well trained in working to any crazy schedule you may have. For example we had to empty the Bondi icebergs swimming pool in the middle of the night for an early morning event for Adidas Parley launch. We installed a 650SqM swimming pool in less than 2 hours and bumped out 6 hours later. Anything is possible with our professional team. To find out more simply call 1300 690 991 or enquiries@dreamcourts.com.au.
Can you drive on the Tiles ?
Yes, within reason, you can drive on the tiles. The tiles are rated to 3 tonne rolling load pressure when anchored and professionally installed. Rolling load means when it is continually rolling and not stationary (dead load). We don’t recommend to have cars or trucks heavier or nearly 3 tonne sitting on the court for an extended period of time. If you intend to use the product on a driveway or a high traffic area for cars and trucks then I would recommend going with the EliteX tile as this is thicker, heavier with a more heavy duty anchoring system.
How do you install the lines and logos on the court ?
Based on your Design we manually tape up the court and paint on the lines as per the design in the factory and not on site. The only time we may paint on site is for Commercial jobs or strange court shapes.

They are made out of composite polymer material with built in UV stabilises and silicon cushioned feet. Please see our Courts page that outlines all the major benefits of our sports tiles.
What type of Paint do you recommend to use on a DreamCourt™ ?
We recommend the use of A1 Road marking paint (Alkaloid based). Although this paint is easily accessible, we recommend to contact our team so that we can introduce you to our recommended line-marking suppliers as the application can be challenging.
Does the line-marking or logos fade over time?
It is very common for line-marking and logos to start fading over time due to wear and tear of your court. All you need to do is call our team up on 1300 690 991 to arrange for a local line-marking specialist to quote up for the re-application of your line-marking. Many variables determine how long your line-marks will last ie court usage and weather.
How do i repair or replace a tile ?
Very easy, we normally supply each and every order with a few spare tiles of each colour. All you need to do is simply un-click the damaged tile out and re-click in the new tile in. Sometimes you will need to remove the tile anchor, before being able to get access to the damaged tile.
How do i clean the tiles ?
The best way to clean the tiles is by using a pressure cleaner. Please do not use a high powered commercial system and or with pencil tip ends as they can damage the paint work. We also don’t recommend the use of any cleaning agents or chemicals as it could leave residue or damage the surface.
Can i pay off the court over time ?
No, sorry we don’t have a finance facility where we produce courts based on regular repayments being made direct to DreamCourts™. We recommend to speak with our finance partners. Simply go to www.dreamcourts.com.au/finance/ for more information on how to apply.
After i accept the quote do you start Manufacturing the DreamCourt™ ?
Accepting the quote is the first step, however in order for your court to go into production you will need to pay the invoice sent by accounts in full.
What forms of payment do you accept ?
We accept all major credit cards including AMEX, Electronic funds transfer or Cash payments made directly into our bank account. Please note we dont accept cash payments or cheque.
What are the normal payment terms ?
The normal payment terms are 100% off the court and or ring is to be paid prior to the court being dispatched. Installation charges are normally invoiced on completion and if there are construction costs associated with the project then this will be on a staged payment plan based on agreed milestones prior to project starting (case by case basis).
Do you offer finance ?
